Your NamIntern journey

After your internship

Our relationship does not end when your internship does.

We conduct a quality-control survey with all stakeholders to gather feedback, evaluate the internship experience and continuously improve the support we provide to future students and our partner organisations. We also have a community so that you can stay in touch with and get updates from the projects you were part of during your time in Namibia.

Mentorship & personal growth

Using Namibia as a mirror for self-discovery

The NamIntern mentorship programme is a holistic learning experience built around guided reflection. Living and working in a different country has a way of holding up a mirror to who you are. Things that feel normal at home can suddenly look different, your assumptions are challenged, and you become more aware of your habits, values, boundaries and expectations. Through weekly mentor sessions, we create a space to pause, reflect and explore what your experiences in Namibia may be showing you about yourself.

The mentorship goes beyond the internship itself. We explore themes such as self-awareness, boundaries, triggers, judgement, vulnerability, reacting versus responding, nervous-system regulation, the mind–body connection, intuition and grounding. The aim is not to tell you who to become, but to help you become more aware of who you already are. Our hope is that when you leave Namibia, you don’t only see the world differently — you see yourself differently too.

Your journey starts with a conversation.

Tell us what you have in mind. We will help you find the right fit.
